Noah knew. . .

Noah knew…

February 5th. It will forever stand in my heart as a monumental day in my life. It was the 
day I finally saw the light. The day that allowed me to breathe new life because I knew I 
was finally creating one.

I have said countless times over the last few days that Noah will never know how much 
he was prayed for. But honestly, Noah knew. He knew everything. His soul was listening 
to every prayer and he, too, felt every tear that came from my eyes. Noah knew me 
before I knew him. He knew I needed patience and selflessness. He knew he would come 
when I was ready for him. Noah knew I needed to heal before I could love.

Today, I opened my devotional for the first time since he was born. “To receive My Peace, 
you must change your grasping, controlling stance to one of openness and trust”—February 5th. 
Noah knew.

Infertility is a lonely place if you let it be. Pray and cry often; let yourself heal. Your 
baby’s soul is out there listening. He’s giving you time to heal because he knows 
how much love you have to give.
